Story
The search for Ainu buried treasure continues for Sugimoto the Immortal and his Ainu companion Asirpa. However, in their search for the 24 escaped prisoners with tattoos showing the location of the buried gold, new truths come to the light.

The "Noppera-Bou," who is said to be the person who stole the buried gold and killed Asirpa's father, is actually Asirpa's father?! The only way to confirm the truth is to go see him in Abashiri Prison. With Yoshitake Shiraishi, the "Escape King," and Kiroranke as companions, the two travel from Otaru to Sapporo and then to Yubari.

Meanwhile, fighting against them for the buried gold are Lieutenant Tsurumi of the 7th Division forces and Toshizou Hijikata, the Cruel Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi,
Each with their own goals in mind, they plot to take the next step.
